who am I?
Thanks for visiting my site! My name is Michelle Maraj, and I am a data visualization professional currently living in the Bay Area. This is my website to share Tableau Public dashboards I have created, talk about conferences I have attended, and provide information about speaking engagements.
After studying information systems and business analytics in school, I started my career as a Financial Crime Analytics Consultant. While in consulting, I was pushed past my introverted comfort zone, working closely with peers to better understand our client’s data. I helped with model validations and system implementations, focusing on anti-money laundering systems. After 4.5 years in consulting, I recently started a job as a Financial Systems Analyst at Lyft, where I get to develop and maintain Tableau dashboards full time.
For more information, feel free to check out my LinkedIn or Twitter. I’m excited to share the different projects that I have been working on!

Credit for my blog’s name, The Chelle Curve, goes to my friend Kevin. Thanks Kevin for your consistent great ideas!
