I just got home from Lithuania, where I was with WAKE for the Tech2Empower: Ukraine program. The program brings women with professional and technical skills from around the globe to support displaced Ukrainian women in the Baltics. On an advisor team with Renée B. Lahti and Emily Wilska, we supported Open Nations with a data strategy to measure their impact going forward. We wrapped up the trip by participating in the Tech2Empower Day for Ukrainian Women Entrepreneurs, an event hosted with Ukreate Hub where we continued to network with Ukrainian women.
This trip was incredibly rewarding to meet with so many inspiring individuals, and I’m honored to have gone. I also got to explore Vilnius, a beautiful city that I hope to one day travel back to!
